Vertebrae_ Barstool explores the structural logic of the human spine translated into furniture. The backrest is composed of a sequence of steel elements aligned along a central vertical axis, evoking the rhythm and segmentation of vertebrae.

The seat extends forward through a set of curved steel ribs that reference the anatomy of the rib cage, creating a suspended and dynamic seating surface.

Entirely handcrafted in mild steel, the piece balances sculptural presence and structural clarity. Through a process of formal subtraction, the barstool reduces the body to its essential architectural elements, transforming anatomy into load-bearing geometry.
